With its unique history under Eduard Strauss II, the last conductor/musician of the Strauss dynasty, Willy Boskovsky, and Johannes Wildner, the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra represents Viennese music in its purest and most authentic form. It plays regular concerts in the Golden Hall of the Wiener Musikverein and tours the world; now, it has been invited, for the first time, to the Rheingau Festival in Wiesbaden. The programme includes works by Johann Strauss II, Josef Strauss, and Eduard Strauss I.
