With Verdi’s “Aida”, Johannes Wildner bids farewell to Oper Burg Gars

After ten years and nine successful opera productions — a tenth fell, like many, victim to measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic — Johannes Wildner says goodbye as the conductor and artistic director of Oper Burg Gars. In his final season, he conducts Verdi’s “Aida” in a production directed by Philip Harnoncourt. The performance on July 25th will be conducted by Swedish conductor Jon Svinghammar.
